It was after 6 long years working with a team, i have been chosen by some other team and moved. I was really felt like missing all the friends in the old team and will be missing all the preference i would normally get.
At the same time, I was really not sure how soon i could mingle with a new team (being an introvert). It took me almost 2 months to know the names of all the people in the team and to let them feel my presense.
The company I shared with one of the guy in a trip really helped me to understand a lot about the new team and gave me some direction to get in to action. It shouldnt be so, but i did a plan to make friendship with these new guys and as part of the plan i cut down the time i used to spend with my old team (Snacks) and i intentionally participated in some of the discussion though some are out of my interst. Because of these I could able to start discussing something on the floor with everyone now.
Being naturally energetic and excited to small things helped me to make friends while playing cricket. Cricket is such a game that give you the companions like the other habits (Drinking and smoking). It made me close enough to the team and helped me to know every one personally.
It was really good but missed chance for the first outing in this new team but i dont like to miss the second out to play cricket. I made my schedule with some compromises to be the part and again a dinner with the team made me close enough to the team.
As a last word....The sentenses came true in my life "What ever you give to others, you will get the double"...I just offered my friendship with single hand and i could able to get dozens of hands to catch my single hand for the bond of FRIENDSHIP.
